I've tried resetting and restarting my computer, but it keeps showing the message 'preparing auto repair' and then gets stuck on the repair screen. Does anyone have suggestions on how to fix this?

I remember that happening to me too. You might have a chance by interrupting the repair process, but it's rare that it actually works. If it doesn't, you might have to consider a fresh install.
If it's not repairable, you'll likely need to wipe your drive and do a fresh installation. Just make sure to back up your important data if you can access it before wiping.
Hey there! Sorry to hear you're stuck. Unfortunately, when I faced a similar issue, I ended up needing to reinstall Windows. It's a bit of a hassle, but it might be your best bet if other fixes don't work.
Wow, that sounds frustrating! Mine did something similar during a reboot earlier today. Can't believe how often these things happen!
