I've got this budget laptop that behaves really weirdly, shutting off randomly especially if it's at a certain angle. I tried resetting it through the Windows 11 reset utility and selected the option to keep my files. Unfortunately, it shut off in the middle of the reset at 47%. Now, every time I turn it on, I'm stuck on that blue reset screen. I've tried to reset again, but I get an error saying, "There was a problem resetting your PC. No changes were made." Restarting just turns it off instantly, and I don't have a hard drive or any backup. I really don't want to remove my files because there's a lot of important stuff on there!

Just a heads-up, messing with BIOS or disks settings can lead to data loss, so it's essential to make sure you have backups in place before tinkering with your system. I recommend checking out the FAQ threads related to Windows 11 for some solid advice on troubleshooting. But really, your first step should be that live USB; it's the safest way to access and secure your files!
It sounds like your reset isn't going to work anymore. You should try creating a live OS on a USB drive, like Hiren's or Ubuntu, which can help you backup your important data first. After you've secured your files, you can clean install Windows using that USB. There are plenty of tutorials on YouTube that can guide you through the process—just search for 'how to create a bootable USB for Windows install' and you should find some great videos.
Thanks for the tip! I'll look for those tutorials. I just really want to make sure I don’t lose any of my data.
