Help Needed: Can’t Install Windows 11 or Fix BCD

Hey everyone! I recently inherited a PC from my friend who isn't very tech-savvy. It was overheating and wouldn't boot up, so I took the time to clean the fans and the inside (yikes, it was really dirty!). I managed to get into Windows Recovery, but nothing seemed to work. To troubleshoot, another friend suggested wiping the SSD, which I went ahead and did. Now, I've got an official Windows 11 USB to install from, but when I boot up the PC with it, I get an error message. I'm starting to think it's a BCD issue, but I can't access the command prompt to rebuild it. Has anyone experienced this before? What can I do? The error message reads: windowssystem32bootwinload.efi, Code: 0xc0000098.

First things first, try creating a new installation USB. Don't reuse the one you have; grab a different USB stick (it should be at least 8GB). Head over to the official Microsoft site and use their media creation tool to make a fresh install drive. This often helps with installation issues!

I tried multiple sticks, and they all brought me back to that same error. It's pretty frustrating!
