Help Needed for My First PC Build

Hi everyone! I'm excited to dive into building my first PC, but I'm feeling a bit lost. I primarily play Sims 4 and Minecraft, and I'm not sure where to begin when it comes to components. Should I buy a pre-built model or try to build one myself? I reckon I don't need anything too expensive for the games I enjoy. If anyone could provide me with a list of what I need and some good recommendations, I would really appreciate it! Thanks in advance!

To add to that, keep an eye on your budget too. If you can stick to around $1200, you should be able to get a strong setup. If you feel overwhelmed about putting it all together, there are plenty of tutorials out there that can guide you through the process.

Hey! Starting your own PC build can be super fun! Since you're looking to play Sims 4 and Minecraft, you don't need top-of-the-line parts. A good mid-range build should work well for those games. I'd say aim for a decent CPU like a Ryzen 5 or an Intel i5, along with 16GB of RAM. For graphics, something like a GTX 1660 or a similar card should do the job nicely. Also, don't forget about a solid power supply and cooling! As for whether to build or buy, it really depends on your comfort level, but building can save you some cash and give you more customization options. Good luck!

I totally agree! Plus, building it yourself is a great learning experience.
