Help Needed for RAM and SSD Upgrade

Hey folks! I recently upgraded to Windows 11, and I'm feeling the pinch on storage. My 500 GB SSD is almost full, so I'm looking to add some more RAM and a second SSD. I'm not really tech-savvy, so I could use some advice on what kind of RAM and SSD would be compatible with my motherboard. Here are my PC specs:

- CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 2600 Six-Core Processor
- RAM: 2x8GB DDR4
- GPU: Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 Ti
- Mainboard: B450 TOMAHAWK (MS-7C02)

Thanks for any help you can provide!

I play a variety of RPGs, including World of Warcraft, Diablo 4, and Path of Exile. I was thinking of adding RAM and the SSD now, and maybe down the line replace the motherboard. Also, I thought it would be easier just to add a second SSD rather than replace the current one and transfer everything over. My current SSD is a SATA type.

Got it! So your current SSD is already occupying the M.2 slot on your motherboard, which means you'll need to grab a SATA SSD for your additional storage. For RAM, you'll want to check the actual speed (look for the MHz rating) on your existing sticks and match them if you're adding more. Ideally, go for something with the same speed and latency for the best compatibility!

Before diving into upgrades, what games are you into? If you're playing something like World of Warcraft or Diablo 4, it might be a good idea to consider upgrading more than just the RAM and SSD.

Also, why do you want a second SSD? Are there specific files or games that need extra space? And is your current SSD NVMe or SATA? Just a heads-up: your B450 TOMAHAWK only has one M.2 slot, so if you already have an M.2 SSD, you would need a SATA 2.5" SSD for the second one.
