Help Needed: My New PC Build is Freezing and Can’t Play Games

I just built my new gaming PC and I'm running into issues. The computer often freezes when I open Task Manager or run diagnostic tools like DXDiag. When I try to play games, such as Arc Raiders or Windrose, I either can't get past the main menu or the game just crashes before I can start. I've tried running the games as an administrator and disabled fullscreen optimization, plus I'm using DirectX 11. All my drivers for the CPU and graphics card are current. My setup includes an Aorus x870 Elite WiFi7 motherboard, a Ryzen 7 7700X processor, a Radeon RX 9060 XT graphics card, a 2K monitor with a 180Hz refresh rate, and 32GB of RAM. Does anyone have any thoughts on what could be causing these issues?

It's worth noting that there aren’t CPU drivers specifically; if you've downloaded something that claims to be a 'CPU driver', it might be malware. Make sure you've only got the necessary GPU drivers installed.

First, check the speed and timings of your RAM. Make sure XMP is enabled if it's supported. Also, ensure your BIOS is up to date. Don't forget to verify that your chipset drivers are the latest, as this can be crucial for stability. If you're booting from an SSD, make sure it's functioning well, as that could also be part of the freezing issue.

Have you tried using only one stick of RAM at a time? Sometimes issues arise from a faulty RAM stick or slot on the motherboard. Testing them individually can help identify the culprit.
