Hi everyone! I'm looking for some assistance because I'm not very tech-savvy. I'm currently facing a problem where my Dell laptop is stuck on the BitLocker recovery screen. This laptop was provided by my college, but unfortunately, my school email no longer works, so I can't retrieve the recovery key. I'm considering resetting the computer directly from that blue screen since I don't mind losing the files. I've tried researching solutions, but they're all pretty confusing with lots of technical jargon. Is there a straightforward way to resolve this issue or bypass it? I'm hoping that resetting the computer will do the trick. Thanks in advance for any help!

If you're going to reset it, that's definitely a valid option. Just ensure to follow the instructions carefully while installing the OS. It can seem daunting, but it's usually straightforward once you get the USB drive ready!
Yes, you can fix this by creating a USB flash drive to install Windows 11. When you reinstall it, it will reformat your existing drive, and sadly, your files will be lost, but it should get you back up and running. Just follow the prompts during the installation process! Good luck!
