Hey everyone, I've been trying to upgrade my PC with a new GPU, SSD, and some RAM. I removed the old GPU, added a new SSD while keeping the old one, and swapped out the RAM. When I power it on, everything lights up and runs, but I can't get any display on the monitors. I've checked the GPU - it seems powered, and all my fans and lights are working. Also, my keyboard lights up as well. I've ensured all cables are secure and my monitors are functioning since they were tested before the upgrade.
I also tried swapping back to the old GPU to see if the new one was faulty, but I'm still getting no display. I went through undoing my changes; I removed the new SSD, replaced the RAM back to the old one, and tried booting with just one stick. No luck there. I even tried hooking up an HDMI cable to the motherboard's onboard graphics for BIOS access, but I still get nothing. I used a DVI to HDMI adapter too, yet the screens remain blank.
I've checked for any visible damage, airdusted everything, and even took the motherboard's coin battery out overnight. The monitors and cables are brand new and worked perfectly before I started this upgrade. I'm really at a loss. Here's the part list:
- Motherboard: Asrock B365 Pro 4
- New GPU: Asrock Challenger OC ARC B580 12 GB
- Old GPU: MSI GeForce RTX 3050 Ventus 2X 8GB
- Current SSD: Samsung 970 EVO 1 TB
- Additional New SSD: Samsung 990 EVO Plus
- New RAM: Ripsaw DDR4 16 GB (2x)
- Old RAM: HP DDR4 8 GB (2x)

One quick thing to check when you have no display is to see if your keyboard's caps lock or num lock lights are toggling when you press them. If they don't light up, that might mean the system isn't even posting, which helps narrow down where the problem could be.
If your keyboard lights aren't working, that usually means the computer isn't booting at all. It might be an issue with the motherboard or power supply. Make sure everything is seated properly. You could also try resetting the CMOS by taking out the battery again.
