I'm having a frustrating issue while building my new computer. I can't get any video output from the HDMI port on my motherboard (AsRock A520M ITX/ac) despite using an AMD Ryzen 5 5600G, which should work with its integrated GPU. The power LED is on, and all the fans are running, but nothing shows up on the screen. I've attempted clearing the CMOS by removing the battery for ten minutes (with the PSU unplugged) and switching RAM slots, but it hasn't helped. My BIOS is up to date at version 3.40. I haven't tried using a DisplayPort cable yet, but I don't have one at hand. Does anyone know what might be causing the issue? Thanks!

Have you checked if you're using the correct motherboard model? Sometimes there's confusion with variants like the A520M-ITX/ac. Also, someone else with a similar issue found that their BIOS was the culprit. They temporarily used an older Ryzen CPU to flash the BIOS, which resolved their problem. Maybe giving that a shot with an older CPU would help!
I'm dealing with a similar no-video issue, except I'm using a Ryzen 3700. It's really puzzling, especially since the hardware should work together without a hitch. I’ve swapped screens and cables, and still no luck. A fellow user mentioned needing an older CPU for the BIOS flash, which just seems off to me. Almost makes me want to stick it out and hope for a solution that doesn't require extra hardware!
Just a heads-up—make sure your monitor is set to the right input source. It might sound simple, but it's something many overlook! Also, since you’ve ruled out a lot of potential problems already, consider testing with a DisplayPort cable if you can get your hands on one just to see if that changes anything. Fingers crossed it’s just a small fix!
Yeah, good catch! I did make a typo with the model, it’s definitely the ITX/ac. I might look into borrowing an older CPU to see if I can flash the BIOS—thanks for the suggestion!
