I've recently discovered that roaches have made themselves at home in my open air PC build. It's super gross, and I really need some advice on how to get rid of them! I've taken the PC apart and removed as many as I could, but honestly, there are just way too many. I live in barracks in Hawaii, and I know that roaches are a common issue, especially since the previous occupant didn't keep it clean. I've never seen this many roaches before, and it's getting out of hand. I'm considering bug bombing it or creating some sort of fumigation setup, but I'd love to hear any suggestions that could help me tackle this problem!

You might want to invest in a vacuum with some good attachments. It makes cleaning out the PC super easy, plus it helps in picking up dead roaches and their skin. I'd also recommend using insect spray around your living area to combat the roach problem and find where they’re coming from to get rid of the source.
Consider using boric acid as a natural roach killer. It's effective and less toxic than other options. Just make sure you keep it away from pets and kids if you have them.
Make sure you're cleaning regularly—I'd recommend a deep clean every week. However, get some good roach traps since these things are smart and tend to avoid common solutions. It sounds like you might be dealing with a resilient bunch!
It’s tough! I’m cleaning too, but it seems like nothing gets through to them. They’re sneaky little guys!
If you’re feeling creative, you could put your whole PC inside a trash bag with a tube as an exit path. You can use some food like sugar to lure the roaches out and make a trap they can’t escape from. It’s a fun DIY solution that could work well!
One essential tip for controlling roaches is to minimize their access to food and water. Make sure to secure any crumbs or spills around your PC area to deter them from coming back. Also, consider getting some of those fine mesh filters for your case. They can help keep unwanted critters from getting in.
Definitely do that! The vacuum is really handy for hard-to-reach places, and keeping the area clean will help a lot too. Just be careful while dealing with the PC.
