Hey everyone! I'm trying to get my PC ready for Windows 11 and I encountered some compatibility issues. While I successfully enabled TPM2.0 in the BIOS, I'm having a tough time enabling Secure Boot. Whenever I enable it, Windows still tells me it's not enabled, which makes it incompatible with Windows 11. I found out that after enabling Secure Boot, I also need to disable CSM based on a tutorial video I watched (here's the link: https://youtu.be/iKUIhynj-6c?si=2Ri3Rjzuqi9bYZsP). The issue is, when I disabled CSM, my PC wouldn't boot properly—no display at all. I managed to fix that by reverting back to CSM mode. Now I'm stuck wondering how to correctly enable Secure Boot and possibly disable CSM to get ready for Windows 11. Also, in the BIOS, there's an option for legacy and UEFI, and I have tried setting it to prioritize UEFI, but that didn't help either. Any ideas? Thanks!

To enable Secure Boot, you need to be using UEFI mode only, as it won't work with legacy BIOS. Switching between UEFI and legacy can cause boot issues since UEFI requires the disk to be set up as GPT. Here's a plan:
1. First, update your BIOS.
2. Backup your important files from the drive.
3. Create a bootable USB stick with Windows 11.
4. Go into BIOS and set everything to UEFI, enable TPM, and Secure Boot.
5. Perform a clean install of Windows and delete all existing partitions on the system drive. This should ideally resolve your issue!
Thanks for the tip! So if I set it to UEFI only after updating the BIOS, I shouldn't run into problems installing Windows again after wiping the drive? Just to be sure, will I need to purchase a new Windows license, or can I still upgrade for free?
