I'm having a frustrating issue with my iPhone. It recently prompted me to change my Apple account password, but I think I accidentally set it to something I can't remember. Now, I can't log back into my account on my iPhone, meaning I can't access the App Store. Whenever I try to reset the password, whether on my laptop or my phone, I get trapped in a loop: I enter my phone number, receive a code, enter that code, and then it asks for my password. I click 'reset password,' and it just goes back to asking for my phone number again. Has anyone faced this problem? Any ideas on how to get out of this loop?

Have you tried resetting your password on a computer? Sometimes it works better there than on the phone.
If all else fails, visit iforgot.apple.com to start the recovery process for your account. It might freeze your account for a while due to security checks, but you’ll receive instructions on how to proceed via email or text.
Is your iPhone updated to the latest iOS version? Also, what browser did you use on your computer? Stick to one like Chrome, Edge, or Firefox to avoid compatibility issues.
Yes, my iPhone is up to date. I tried using Chrome on both Windows and the Mac, but it still loops.
Instead of using a browser, you should try resetting your password directly through your iPhone's settings. Go to Settings > [your name] > Sign-In & Security > Change Password. If it asks for your current password, just enter anything three times to prompt the reset option.

I actually did try resetting on both my laptop and my friend's Mac, but I got stuck in that same loop again.
