I'm the system admin for my organization's Exchange 365 portal, and I'm having a major issue with the authenticator app. When I try to log in, it asks for an authenticator code, but my phone isn't syncing with it. I attempted to manually enter my email into the Authenticator app, but it keeps giving me an auth code that doesn't match what I see on my work computer. I've lost access to my email and calendar, and so have my employees for over 24 hours now while I wait for a callback from Microsoft's escalation team. Any suggestions to resolve this mess?

You might want to check for a link on the authenticator page that says something like "I can't use the authenticator right now." That could help you bypass the issue. Also, it sounds like your 365 account isn’t set up properly in the Authenticator app, so you may need to redo the setup. Just a heads up, it seems like you're facing more of an end-user issue than admin if that's the case.
Just asking, are there any other admins in your organization? And do you have a break glass account set up for emergencies? If you're the only admin, it might complicate things a bit.
I can relate! I'm a small business owner and the sole admin too. I accidentally deleted my verification account while trying to fix another issue in Exchange. I don’t think I have a break glass email set up, but I’m honestly not sure.
