I've been running a small form factor PC with a Ryzen 5 3600 and recently had to RMA my Corsair SF600 power supply, getting back a SF750. I managed to run my old Ryzen 3 2200G without issues. Now, I've flashed the BIOS to version 4.80 (might've already been at 4.8) and tried to upgrade to a Ryzen 5 5600. The system powers on, the fans spin, but there's no display and it won't post. I've already cleared the CMOS and ensured my GPU is connected properly to the monitor. When I switch back to the 2200G, the system runs perfectly. I even updated the BIOS to 5.20 but I'm still facing the same issue. Any thoughts on what might be wrong? Is it possible the CPU is dead?

Make sure to double-check the CPU support list for your motherboard. If the 5600 is supported, reset the BIOS (unplug the PSU and short the CLR_CMOS pins for about 20 seconds). Also, ensure your GPU is seated correctly, and the memory sticks are in the right slots. If your motherboard has those EZ Debug LEDs, keep an eye on them; any that stay lit can indicate where the boot problem is.
Honestly, it sounds like the CPU could be dead. I would suggest returning it and trying a different one just to be safe.
