I have a Dell Inspiron 3847, and I'm looking to upgrade it for gaming since it can't handle current games very well. I want to change most of the components while keeping the case to save some money. What parts do you think would be the best to install? Thanks in advance!

If you plan to upgrade your whole system, I would suggest getting a decent GPU and CPU combo along with a good motherboard and RAM. Brands like NVIDIA for the GPU and AMD or Intel for the CPU might give you the best performance for modern games. Don't forget about a reliable power supply!
I've been looking at the Tempest Pulse PSU 650W Cybenetics Silver ATX 3.1 for the power supply too! Do you think that will work well with the other components?
