I just plugged in my Samsung SyncMaster 244T monitor, but there's no display. The screen starts looking worse the longer it's on, and it appears to be showing a static pattern that reminds me of the DVD logo bouncing around. Any ideas on what could be causing this? Have you made sure that the monitor is connected to the graphics card instead of the motherboard? Sometimes, if it’s plugged into the wrong port, it can cause display issues.

I actually forgot to add a photo earlier, but it’s only plugged into the power outlet; nothing else. So that might be the problem!
