Help with Boot Device Issues After Moving from HP Z800 to HP Elite Mini G9

I've been using an old HP Z800 with Windows 10 Pro on an SSD, and I'm looking to upgrade to the new HP Elite Mini G9, which uses an NVMe drive. I created a backup image of the Z800's SSD using a bootable USB with Macrium Reflect and saved it to an external hard drive. I then connected the hard drive to the Mini and restored the image without any issues. However, when I try to boot the Elite Mini, it can't find the boot device and shows a 'Boot Device Not Found' error. I'm wondering if this might be due to the BIOS differences—legacy BIOS from the Z800 versus UEFI from the Mini—or if it's related to the master boot record or GPT vs. MBR formats. Can anyone guide me on how to diagnose and fix this issue? I'm open to paying a small fee for a solid solution.

Check if the new Mini has an option to enable CSM (Compatibility Support Module) boot. If it's set to UEFI mode, it won't boot your cloned OS from the SSD. Alternatively, you could create a GPT disk and restore your image to it. It might also be worth watching this video for guidance: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BXhfLsCIF3E](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BXhfLsCIF3E). But personally, I'd recommend backing up your essential files and doing a clean install of Windows 11, especially since your Windows 10 setup is quite old.

I’m working on that now, just finishing up the restore process. I’ll let you know how it goes!
