Help with Building a New Gaming PC

I'm looking to build a new PC and have been checking out parts on PCPartPicker and some YouTube videos. I'm considering a Ryzen 7 9800X3D and a 5080 GPU. It's been a while since I built a PC, so I'd really appreciate any help in refining my build to ensure it all makes sense. My budget is $5,000, and I want to play AAA titles at higher settings with good frame rates, have a quick startup time, and run video editing software smoothly. Thanks in advance for any advice!

With a budget like that, you've got plenty of room for a solid build! Have you thought about going for a pre-built option? Sometimes they offer excellent specs for a competitive price. Also, do you have a Microcenter nearby? They often have great deals on components and can help you with the build.

I don't have a Microcenter near me, but I did think about going pre-built. Do you think I'd be able to find a pre-built that matches my desired specs?
