I'm having trouble with my computer's storage. I have a Local Disk C which is 1TB and nearly full, and a Local Disk D that is 4TB but only 15% full. I've also connected a Samsung external drive that has 2TB of free space. When I try to download Twitch VODs, I get an error message saying I've run out of storage. I want to select a different drive for the download, but it always defaults to the C drive, which is almost completely full. I really need some help to resolve this!

It sounds like you're facing a frustrating issue! If you're using a browser, you should look for settings that allow you to change the default download location. In Chrome, for instance, there's an option to ask you where to save each time. This way, you can manually choose your external drive. Just make sure you have that option turned on! But it sounds like you've tried that before.
I totally get it, I've been there! Even if you change the location, it can be tricky if the browser defaults back to C drive. Have you checked the specific folder settings or even tried using a different browser just to see if that helps?
