Help with Frequent BSOD: IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL Error

Hey everyone, I recently upgraded my PC last month, but since the beginning of June, I've been experiencing random Blue Screens of Death (BSOD) with the error code "IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL." I've already updated my drivers—there was one missing, but even after that, the crashes continued. I also scanned my RAM and found no issues, plus I tried some commands in the PC console to fix it. Just today, it crashed again while I wasn't doing anything intensive. I installed Bluescreenview, but I'm not sure what to make of the results. I've heard it could be linked to unauthorized memory use, but I'm not keen on erasing everything as a fix. Would really appreciate any tips before taking that step! Oh, and I've gathered the DMP error files too if that's needed.

Make sure to check if the BIOS menus are stable, meaning they shouldn’t be freezing or displaying glitches. If they seem okay, I’d recommend updating your motherboard’s BIOS to the latest version available on MSI’s support page. Also, download the latest AMD Chipset Drivers from the AMD site; be sure to get the chipset installer specifically, as other versions can sometimes cause issues.

I think everything seems stable since the PC doesn’t lag during use, but it crashes randomly. How can I be sure it's stable? I read that sometimes people suggest going back to an older BIOS version if the new one is causing issues. Should I stick with the latest update; is it worth the risk?

To get a clearer picture of what's causing these BSODs, you can look for dump files—they're crash logs from the BSODs. If you can access Windows normally or through Safe Mode, check the C:WindowsMinidump folder for any files. If there are dump files, zip that folder and upload it to a file sharing site that works well for Reddit, like catbox.moe or mediafire.com. Having multiple dump files will help in diagnosing the issues better, and you can also refer to this guide to adjust your dump type settings.
