I'm putting together a PC build with a budget of 2.25 lakhs, and I could use some advice. Here's what I'm considering:
- Ryzen 7 9700X for 31K
- GPU 5070 for 73K
- Gigabyte B850 Gaming Wi-Fi motherboard for 17K
- Corsair Gold 850 PSU for 10K
- Arctic Freezer 3 AIO for 10.5K
- 32 GB XPg RAM (6000 MHz) for 40K
- WD Black Gen 4 SSD for 17K
- A case (like Lian Li) for 10K
- Extra fans and accessories for 13K.
Am I overpaying or is the pricing about right? Also, I'm considering selling the GPU after six months to upgrade to a 5080 or a 5070 Ti. I need to buy a monitor as well, with an MSI one in mind costing around 9500. Any recommendations would be appreciated! I'll mainly use the PC for editing, automation, and some light modeling locally. If I get a steering wheel, I'll also play Forza Horizon and similar games.

Your overall build looks pretty good! But yeah, I'd agree that the prices for RAM and SSD seem a bit steep. There are definitely some sites out there where you can get better deals—maybe try checking out local tech stores or online marketplaces. As for the GPU, if the 5070 meets your needs, it should be fine; just think about whether you might benefit from the 5070 Ti for your work. Good luck!
The 5070 is a solid choice! Overall, your build looks decent but it seems like the RAM and SSD prices are a bit higher than what they should be. You could save some cash there without sacrificing performance. Also, instead of going for an AIO cooler, a good air cooler could do the job for you and would be cheaper. About selling the GPU in six months—I'd recommend just sticking with what you have now instead of planning for a quick sell-off. Better to get something you'll keep for a while!
Thanks for the tips! I’ll look into air coolers then. Do you have any specific models in mind?

Thanks! I’ll check out some online retailers for better prices.
