Help with Power Supply Compatibility for My New GPU

Hi everyone! I recently installed a new GPU and noticed that the power supply cable appears to be smaller than what I had previously. I'm worried that I might need to get an entirely new power supply. Is there any way to use an adapter instead, or have I really messed up? Thanks for your advice!

Check the box that your GPU came in; it usually includes an adapter cable for power connections. You might just need to dig a little!

Haha, I found it! I feel a bit silly for not opening everything properly—it was in there all along.

Glad you found it! By the way, I noticed another piece in the box that I can't identify. Do you know what this could be for? https://ibb.co/QjTmLMXH

You should definitely grab an adapter! Here’s one that could work for you: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BX46D2Q1. Just make sure it’s compatible with your GPU model.

Just double-check that the brand matches what you’ve got in your setup.

Thanks for the tip! I just realized I actually found the adapter included in the box—I must've missed it when I was unpacking in a hurry!
