After relocating the roaming profiles on our servers, one user is experiencing issues that I need help resolving. The problems are happening on three systems specifically: Outlook, a SQL server client, and the quick links on the taskbar. Whenever the user's system reboots, these applications revert to their default state as if they were never set up. The SQL client loses its license, and once that's resolved, the database connections have to be re-established. Outlook behaves as if it's being run for the first time, creating a new .ost file. Additionally, the taskbar links just vanish and need to be reconfigured.
Different users and computers reacted differently to the roaming profile changes—some worked without issues while a few, including the one in question, had to be manually directed to the new data location. In some cases, only particular folders needed their location updated, not all. My admin account doesn't seem to have the same problem with desktop icons and taskbar items. Also, note that there are no backups, secondary connections, or antivirus tools employing a restore point on these systems. All computers are running Microsoft software, and the SQL version is MSSQL2022 Express.

It sounds like the relocation of the roaming profiles might have caused some inconsistencies. It's worth investigating if the affected users are somehow linked to temporary profiles or if there's a group policy issue that might be causing these resets.
Are the users struggling with this issue being assigned temporary profiles? Sometimes that can cause settings to reset on restart.
I'm trying to avoid giving them new profiles since they have a lot of local data that would be difficult to transfer.
