Help with Sending a License Plate Photo in the Right Format

I'm trying to send a photo of my license plate to a toll reader company, but I'm running into issues. I took the picture with my iPhone, but I'm getting an error that says the file type isn't allowed. They insist that I need to use one of the following formats: csv, xls, or xlsx. I'm totally lost when it comes to these formats, and I'm wondering if there's any way to convert my iPhone photo into one of them.

Those formats (csv, xls, xlsx) are actually for spreadsheets and not images. Have you checked if they accept file types like JPG or PNG? If they don’t mention those specifically, it could be that you need to send something else. Can you look into that?

Looks like you might need to create a spreadsheet with your license plate information! Just type it in large letters in Excel. If you’re not at a computer, I guess that might be tricky though.

Yeah, I'm only working from my phone right now, so that's a bit of a challenge.

Yeah, those types are Microsoft Excel file formats. It might be odd for them to ask for an image in that format. Double-check that you’re selecting the option to upload a picture instead of a document. If you don't have Excel, you could try using an online editor to insert your image and save it in a supported format.
