I've been experiencing some really annoying ping spikes for about a week now. I usually use a wireless network adapter, and my ISP hasn't changed anything—I've never had issues like this in the years I've been online. I ran a ping test via command prompt, sending out 100 packets, and I've got some mixed results. Can anyone help me figure out what's going on?

I agree, browsing is fine with those pings, but when gaming, it can really be a whole different story. Have you tried adjusting your network settings or maybe updating your drivers? Sometimes that can help smooth things out.
I think you might be expecting too much from those numbers. To give you some perspective:
- 0-60 ms is excellent and feels super responsive.
- 60-100 ms is totally fine for regular home internet.
- 100-200 ms is okay; most folks won’t notice unless they're gaming.
- 200 ms and above starts to feel sluggish, especially on interactive sites.
