I'm having some serious trouble with my laptop. This morning, I tried to open a game, but only the sound was working; the game's icon didn't show up in the taskbar. I opened the Task Manager, but it loaded with gray squares and wouldn't let me close the game. It displayed "Task Manager is not responding" when I tried to exit it. So, I decided to restart my laptop, but it got stuck on the "restarting" screen. I had to force shutdown using the power button. After that, it turned on fine, and I even ran a command to check for corrupted files, which it fixed. But now, I restarted my laptop again, and I've been waiting on the "restarting" screen for over 18 minutes. What should I do?

I'd suggest waiting for about 30 minutes to see if it eventually restarts. If it doesn't, you might have to force shutdown again. After that, run another scan to check for any more corrupted files. Also, it’s a good idea to do a full virus scan just to rule that out. And don't forget to check if your graphics drivers or any other programs need updates!
