Help with XFX 9070XT GPU Power Cable Connection

I'm building a small form factor PC with an XFX 9070XT and a Lian Li 850 SFX PSU. The 600W cable that connects to the 2x8 pin on the GPU doesn't fit because it has a non-standard connector. I don't have any other cables that might work with it. There's a PCI-E cable that splits from 1x8 to 2x8, but I'm having trouble bending it to connect it to the GPU properly. Is the PCI-E cable a viable option, or should I try to force it? This is my second build, but it's the first time I'm doing everything completely on my own. Any advice would be appreciated!

You really should use two separate 6+2 pin PCI-E cables from your PSU. Your power supply probably includes a daisy chain connector that you can just skip. Trust me, that's the best way to avoid issues with power delivery and ensure stability for your GPU.

I see, but I only have that one cable that splits from 1x8 to 2x8, and it has this weird connector. Should I just try to make that work?
