I'm curious about the current status of Intel GPU drivers for Linux. I'm looking to replace my 6650XT with a more affordable graphics card for my media PC, specifically for running Emby as my streaming service. Any insights would be appreciated!

Intel GPU drivers are mostly open-source and integrated with Mesa and the kernel. They should work just fine. Are you looking specifically for an Intel ARC GPU?

Yes, I'm eyeing the A380 for transcoding media on my Emby setup. Sounds like a good match!

I've been using the Intel B580 on Arch for about 3-4 months, and I haven't run into any issues at all. It works really well! Definitely a solid choice if you're considering Intel GPUs.
