I have an old company PC that I want to repurpose for personal use. It's a Micro ATX/Mini ITX Dell desktop, but the BIOS is locked with an admin password that I can't retrieve. I recently installed a new m.2 SSD hoping it would help, but I still can't get past the BIOS. Does anyone have any advice or solutions?

You can try resetting the BIOS password by taking out the CMOS battery from the motherboard and then putting it back in. This might help unlock the BIOS settings.
I did that, but it didn't work. I had the CMOS out for about 10 seconds—does the length of time affect anything?
