Hey everyone! I accidentally dropped my phone, and it got run over right after. The screen isn't cracked, but it displays a solid light green when I power it on. My phone is an A34, and while losing it wouldn't be tragic, I have some crucial images and notes stored on it that I really want to save. The only way to connect to my PC is by scanning a QR code, which I can't do since I can't see the screen at all. Is there any way to bypass this requirement or access my phone in another way? Also, I found out that the A34 doesn't support HDMI. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Try holding both volume buttons for about three seconds. It might activate the talkback feature, which can help you navigate your phone and enable MTP or File Transfer mode when connected to your computer through USB, provided your touch functionality is working.
Another thing to try is visiting a phone repair shop. They can quickly hook up a temporary screen for you to scan that QR code, or you could ask them to copy everything onto a USB stick. It usually costs around £20 and takes about 20 minutes!
One option you might consider is mirroring your screen on another device if that's possible. It might allow you to see what you’re doing to get to the QR code.
Sorry, but I've got to say it's not looking good. There's really no way around that QR code without a functional screen.
Unfortunately, there isn't much you can do without replacing some parts, which might not even help unless you switch out the main board. It's a bummer because you could lose data that way. I’d recommend setting up a solid cloud backup on your next phone!
Have you tried using a USB-C to HDMI adapter? It might be a long shot, but sometimes it can mirror your screen to another display if the phone hardware supports it.

Replacing the screen is an option too, but it's kind of a hassle. Just a heads up!
