How can I add a fan hub if I’ve run out of PCI-E connections?

I'm in the middle of building my PC and I've already filled all the PCI-E slots with my CPU and GPU. Now I need to connect a fan hub that requires an PCI-E connection, but I'm out of PCI-E slots. I do have some other connections available, like SATA and a couple of 6-pin and 12-pin connections. Is there a way to use one of these available connections with an adapter to power my fan hub?

I've never heard of a fan hub needing an 8-pin connection; they typically get powered through a SATA connection instead. Can you tell me what model fan hub you're using? And what's your power supply like?

What CPU do you have? If you're using two cables just for the CPU, you might only need one 8-pin CPU power cable instead of two. That might free up a PCI-E slot for your fan hub.
