I'm looking to enhance the cooling in my PC and noticed my motherboard has only 3 fan headers. I want to add another set of 3 fans right above the CPU cooler, since there's plenty of space. I've been considering using a fan splitter or a fan hub, but I'm unsure which option would work best for my situation. Also, can I daisy chain P12 or P14 fans together? I'd appreciate any advice on this. Thanks!

Check your motherboard manual for the maximum amps each header can handle. As long as you don't exceed this limit, you should be fine. Make sure to look up the power draw for each fan as well, which can usually be found in the specs.
I recommend using a splitter. Typically, each fan draws about 0.25A, so you can connect up to four safely if you have a 1A limit on your header. However, sticking to three fans is a safer bet. You'll find the necessary numbers in your motherboard and fan manuals.
You can use either daisy chaining or splitters; both options work well. They essentially achieve the same outcome in allowing you to connect more fans. Just make sure to keep track of how many fans you're connecting to avoid overloading your headers.
