How can I add WiFi to my compact PC without PCIe access?

I'm working on building a compact project PC using some spare parts, but I've hit a snag. The graphics card is blocking the PCIe slot where I planned to install a WiFi adapter, and my motherboard doesn't come with built-in WiFi. What are my options for adding WiFi functionality?

Could you share a picture or the model of your motherboard? That could help to suggest the best solution.

One option you might consider is using PCIe-x1 riser cables, but only if you have enough space to fit one. They can help you relocate the adapter.

Sadly, that's not an option for me since I don’t have the space to make that work.

If your motherboard has an available M.2 slot, you might be able to use a M.2 to PCIe adapter for a WiFi card. Here's one example: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09B1R6485. Another alternative is using a USB WiFi adapter, but keep in mind that the performance might not be as good. You could also look into options like MoCa, Powerline, or Mesh WiFi to improve your network coverage.
