I'm looking for a way to automatically update Docker images and remove the old ones. Is there a Docker tool or method for this? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

One great option is Watchtower. It helps automate the update process for your Docker containers and can remove old images too. Check it out at their website!

I heard Watchtower might not be actively maintained anymore. Not sure if there’s a newer version or what’s up with it.

If you're using Docker managers, some of them have built-in features for updating and cleaning up images. Have a look at Komodo; it might fit your needs!

Coolify offers an option to automate these updates and cleanups as well. It might be worth checking out if you're looking for a tailored solution!

You can also set up a cron job that updates your images and prunes old containers regularly. That way, you stay on top of things without manual intervention!
