I have an older laptop that I'm trying to experiment with, and I've installed Zorin on it. However, I seem to have run into a problem where Zorin has completely taken over the bootloader. Even though I can prioritize the USB stick in the BIOS, I still can't boot from it. I want to try out different Linux distributions from the USB but can't seem to get it to work. I'm not worried about losing any data on the laptop, but I feel like there's a critical step I might be missing instead of just reinstalling everything. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Can you clarify what you're trying to achieve? Did you install Zorin from the USB to your laptop's hard drive? If so, what’s your goal with the USB now? Are you looking to boot into a different OS? I just wanna ensure I’m clear on the situation.
You might want to try accessing the BIOS boot menu directly or consider re-flashing your USB drive. Sometimes, there’s a glitch that can make it tricky for the system to recognize the USB as a bootable option.

Yeah, I installed Zorin and wanted options to try out different distros. I've done dual-boot setups on Windows machines, but Zorin seems to be in control of the bootloader now. Zorin is functioning perfectly otherwise, it’s just the USB drive that won’t boot.
