I've been dealing with a dysfunctional Windows OS for over six months now, and one of the biggest issues is that it just stopped connecting to the internet two months ago. This problem persists across different installations, while my Linux setup on another drive connects perfectly. I've tried a ton of fixes over the past month, including a network reset, reinstalling drivers, performing various netcfg and netsh commands, doing an in-place upgrade, and trying both Ethernet tethering and a USB antenna. I can't erase my Windows installation, as I really want to fix this issue instead of starting over. So, if anyone has some less common solutions that might help, I'm all ears!

Have you tried using the Media Creation Tool to download the Windows ISO and run the setup.exe while on Windows? This essentially upgrades Windows to itself, replacing any broken system files. It might just do the trick and resolve your networking issues!
When you mention that networking is broken, can you clarify what exactly that means? Are your browsers failing to load pages, or can you not ping any IP addresses? Getting more specifics might help figure this out better!
I actually did the in-place upgrade already, and unfortunately, the issue still persisted. If you have any other uncommon solutions, I'd love to hear them!
