I just got a new computer case, but I noticed it doesn't have a hole for the SSD spacer to screw into. Is there a bolt I can buy to help secure it, or maybe another way to attach the SSD board?

Just a reminder: the M.2 SSD connects to the motherboard, not directly to the case. The spacer needs to be secured somehow, though. Some motherboards only provide a hole for the spacer, which complicates things a bit.
I had the same issue! I used two spacers to attach the SSD to the motherboard and a third to keep it steady. A bit of a makeshift solution, but it does the job.
You can order a set of spacers and screws from places like Amazon or eBay. I did that last month, and it worked perfectly for me!
That sounds convenient! I've got those spacers too, but I think a 3D printed sled with a screw hole on the bottom would make it even easier to install. Someone should really make that!
Do you have a picture of the setup? I managed to use three spacers to hold my SSD in place. You only need one screw and two spacers, and it worked out fine. It's a bit of a clunky solution, but hey, the old pin connectors are still a thing since the '80s!
Exactly, the M.2 itself doesn’t need to connect to the case, but you’ve got to secure that spacer somehow!
