How can I create a recovery drive for Windows after getting a BSOD?

I'm trying to create a recovery drive to reinstall Windows on my laptop, but I've been hitting a wall. I attempted using a Windows 10 ISO, but I keep getting a Blue Screen of Death with the error code Netwtw08.sys. It's been three days of troubleshooting. What should I know about making a recovery drive? I heard it installs the necessary drivers from the laptop—how can I fix those drivers if the recovery drive is successful?

First off, if you're dealing with BSODs, it's essential to collect dump files for proper analysis. If you can access Windows or even boot into Safe Mode, check for dump files in the C:WindowsMinidump directory. If you find any, zip them up and upload them to a file-sharing site like catbox.moe or mediafire.com since Reddit doesn't allow uploads. Having multiple dump files can really help diagnose the issue, so make sure to also configure your system to create Small Memory Dumps for future crashes. This might give you more insight into what's really going wrong with your system.

Instead of using the ISO only, try the Media Creation Tool or Rufus to create your recovery drive. Those tools generally work better for installations. However, if you keep encountering the BSOD, it sounds like this might be related to network drivers as indicated by the error code. If the fresh install isn’t working due to the SSD being empty, you may want to consider checking the SSD's health or reconnecting it, as sometimes hardware can cause these errors before getting fully set up.
