How can I determine if my GPU or PCIe slot is the issue?

I recently assembled my new PC, and everything was working fine until I installed my GPU. After booting up, my motherboard displayed an F3 error code, and while all fans including the AIO and GPU fans spin and the RGB lights turn on, it then shuts down after 10-20 seconds. I'm trying to figure out if the problem lies with the GPU, the PCIe slot, or something else entirely. Any advice on how to troubleshoot this?

Have you checked for any visible issues with the PCIe slot or the GPU itself? You could also try using a different PCIe slot if available, like an x4 or x1 slot, to see if that works.

If you have an Asus motherboard, the F3 code indicates a specific error. You might want to check what that code means and see if reseating the RAM helps. Sometimes, loose RAM can cause this kind of problem.

Make sure you set the BIOS to prioritize the PCIe slot over onboard graphics. You might want to boot into the BIOS without the GPU installed and check those settings.

Just double-check that your PSU is sufficient for your setup. A 1000w PSU should be plenty for your CPU, motherboard, and GPU, but it's always good to double-check all the connections.
