How Can I Ease Back into Programming Without Feeling Overwhelmed?

Hey everyone! I recently wrapped up a university program in Computer Science and Math, covering subjects like calculus, OS, networks, and some C++ topics like linked lists. It's been nearly two years since I actively programmed, and I'm eager to jump back in, particularly into backend development. I was learning Node.js and starting with Express.js before I took a break. I enjoyed using Codecademy, but I've come across some mixed reviews about it lately, and I want to make sure I'm learning effectively.

I'm looking for tips on how to get back into programming smoothly without getting overwhelmed. Do you have recommendations for better platforms or YouTube channels that could replace Codecademy? I've checked out resources, but I'm feeling a bit lost with all the AI and full-stack options out there. I prefer interactive and structured learning, similar to Codecademy or FreeCodeCamp. I'm considering starting from scratch with JavaScript since I'm already comfortable with it. Any suggestions on how to ease back into this without wasting time?

You might want to check out The Odin Project. It's got a solid JavaScript course and allows you to refresh your basics before diving into full-stack development. If you’re also interested in AI, Python with Django for web development is a good combo.

I took a look at it and it feels kind of similar to other free courses, but I'm willing to give it a shot. If I like the courses, I might stick around. Thanks!
