I'm trying to figure out if there's a way to enroll a Mac into Apple Business Manager (ABM) without having access to another Mac with Apple Configurator. I've heard that previously you had to use a Mac for this process, but I want to explore my options since I'm considering purchasing a Mac. There's a significant price difference between buying one from a reseller that can automatically be enrolled and getting a cheaper one elsewhere. If I can use another method to enroll the Mac without a Mac, it would save money and also help me understand the process better for future use!

You can use Apple Configurator on an iPhone to do the enrollment. If you don’t have an iPhone, you might need to borrow one from someone in your office. Just make sure your iOS version is up to date! Also, remember that this enrollment is reversible for a month, so it’s not completely locked down yet.
Yep, you don’t need another Mac! Just grab an iPhone and use Apple Configurator to enroll your Mac. It's funny, but it's true! Just remember, you could always enroll iPhones and iPads with another Mac, but not Macs, which is a bit odd.
You can actually enroll your Mac into ABM using the Apple Configurator app on an iPhone! Just keep in mind that if you go this route, there’s a 30-day window where the end user can remove the device from ABM before the enrollment becomes permanent.
That’s super helpful, thanks for the info!
