Hey everyone! A couple of years ago, I got an iPad from someone who claimed they only used it for one presentation and that they had reset it. I'm thinking about finally using it, but I want to make sure it's secure and hasn't been compromised in any way. I even went to an Apple store to ask for a security check, but they told me they can't help with that. What should I do to make sure it's safe to use?

You can trust the factory reset to clear most security risks, but it wouldn’t hurt to check for any updates and install a security app to add an extra layer of protection.
If you bought it second-hand, it’s good to be cautious. A factory reset is usually enough to wipe any previous data and settings. Just make sure you set it up as a new device instead of restoring from a backup.
