I'm currently working with Windows Server 2019 and have started experimenting with Windows Server 2022 and 2025. My evaluation license is set to expire in 180 days, and I'm wondering if there's any way to extend it. If extending isn't possible, how do you all keep your test labs running? Do you buy licenses for testing purposes? I'd really prefer not to have to reconfigure Active Directory, DHCP, Group Policies, DNS, and everything else every 180 days! Any insights would be appreciated! Thanks!

You can actually use the slmgr /rearm command to extend your evaluation license. You can do this about three or four times, and each time it adds another 180 days. It's worth checking this out! Just FYI, you might want to run the command before your current license expires to avoid any issues.
Have you given slmgr /rearm a shot? I think it's the best option. I've seen mixed results from others, though, so let us know how it goes! I actually haven't tried it yet myself since I just started setting up Server 2022 and 2025.
There’s a way to extend the eval license every 180 days, which can give you a total of three years. In our lab, we use proper licensing because our setup is semi-persistent and mainly focuses on testing different configurations and third-party software.
