I recently noticed a pink line on my Viotech monitor and I'm pretty sure it happened after I had a cup of steaming tea placed under it. I can't post a picture unfortunately, but the line is sort of off-center and really annoying. Does anyone know how I can remedy this?

First off, could you tell us more about your monitor? It's really helpful to understand the model. Also, it seems odd that the tea would have caused this unless it spilled or the steam affected it directly. Was there any actual moisture on the screen? That's usually what leads to damage.
It's not common for monitors to be repaired, sadly, since parts can be hard to get. If the pink line was caused by steam or heat, it might be temporary. You could try turning it off for a bit and letting it cool down or checking the display settings to see if there's something affecting the image.
Just to clarify, you mentioned it’s a Viotech monitor—some models are known for having issues. If it gets worse, you might want to consider looking into warranty options or even contacting their support. But first, let it cool off and see if that line disappears!
