How can I get black bars on my LG 34 Ultrawide OLED when playing games?

Hey everyone! I recently got an LG 34 OLED monitor, and I'm having a tough time getting black bars to show up while playing Marvel Rivals. I want to run it in 16:9 resolution but every time I try, the picture just stretches to fill the whole screen. I've already checked the monitor settings and switched to Normal Aspect Ratio mode, and I also have 'Preserve Aspect Ratio' enabled in my AMD Radeon settings. I'm using DisplayPort with a native resolution of 3440x1440, but I want to play at 2560x1440 with those black bars. Any advice would be super helpful. Thanks a lot!

Try setting the game resolution to 2560x1440 directly in the game settings. That usually fixes the stretching issue. The game should ideally support letterboxing if it recognizes the resolution correctly. Let me know if it works!

I tried that, but it still stretches. It's really frustrating!
