How Can I Improve Airflow for My Gigabyte 7900 XT to Lower GPU Temps?

I've got a PC build with an AMD Ryzen 7 7700X and a Gigabyte RX 7900 XT, but I've been dealing with some really high GPU temperatures lately. I sent the GPU in for RMA, and they insisted it was fine with no overheating issues. However, I've been wondering if my case might be the problem. The GPU fits tightly in the Gamemax Vista AB case, which has plenty of fans (6 plus 3 from my AIO cooler), but I'm starting to think the airflow isn't sufficient or well-designed. My main concerns are: 1. Is the Gamemax Vista AB a suitable case for a powerful setup like this? 2. Could the cramped space and airflow issues be causing these high GPU temps despite having multiple fans? 3. If the current case isn't adequate, what would be some ideal case recommendations for better airflow and cooling?

What temperatures are you hitting? Knowing the numbers can really help diagnose the issue better.

I ran an OCCT test and saw temps at 110C. In games like PUBG and God of War Ragnarok, it was a bit above 100C.

Maybe try testing everything outside your case first. Just set it all up on a test bench. If the temps drop significantly, that points towards airflow issues in your case. Also, keep an eye on how well your thermal paste and thermal pads are applied. If they’re not making good contact with the heatsink, that could definitely cause overheating problems. I've had similar experiences with Gigabyte's RMA service before; sometimes they seem to claim everything is fine when it’s not.

I think you might be onto something with the thermal pads! But I'm hesitant to open it up since I still have warranty left—I'm just not ready to risk it. That said, the RMA report I got after sending it back felt pretty generic, like they didn’t really address my specific issues.
