How Can I Improve Airflow in My Corsair 3500X Case for Better CPU Cooling?

I'm currently experiencing overheating issues with my 9900x processor. Despite efforts like undervolting, my CPU occasionally hits 80-90 degrees Celsius, especially when launching modded Minecraft. I'm using a 360mm AIO cooler but still struggle with high temperatures. I've already checked the cooler's positioning and repasted it. I suspect the airflow might be a factor since even when I crank the fans to max, the CPU temperature barely dips below 80. My setup includes three case fans at the front and three fans on the AIO radiator at the top. I'm considering adding a rear exhaust fan to improve airflow, but I'm worried that it may create negative pressure. I could balance it with a bottom intake fan, but that might invite dust from the floor into the case. Any advice on fan placement and its potential impact on CPU temperatures?

It sounds like airflow might not be your main issue; you should double-check that the protective film on your AIO cooler was removed during installation!

I did check and removed it, so I don't think that's the problem.

In my case, I have three side fans for intake, one bottom fan, and a 120mm at the back for exhaust with a 360mm AIO. My CPU temps usually stay between 50-70 degrees Celsius. I think your temps are still somewhat reasonable, but adding a rear exhaust fan could help a little. Just remember that negative pressure isn't necessarily worse than positive pressure; it depends on your setup!

Do you keep your setup on the floor or a desk? Also, is it a big issue if I just add the rear exhaust fan without a bottom intake fan? I’m hesitant about dust buildup.
