How Can I Keep My PC Cooler Without AC?

Hey everyone! I've just finished building my rig, and it works wonderfully, but living in a place where AC is a no-go due to power restrictions is a challenge in summer. The heat in my area makes my PC run hotter than I'd like. I currently have a quality deep cool fan inside, a small rear fan, plus three built-in fans at the front for airflow. I'm considering buying this [airflow solution](https://www.amazon.ca/upHere-Airflow-Computer-Controller-Workstation/dp/B0CL6RFBNT) or some external fans to improve air circulation. Any tips on how to keep my PC cooler during these hot months would be greatly appreciated! Thanks for the help in the past, guys!

It sounds like your main issue might be the heat in the room rather than your PC not cooling enough. Have you tried just opening a window? Even a simple breeze can help a lot! Also, consider placing your PC close to a window or using a room fan to disperse the heat better.

Funny enough, I keep my windows open and also use window fans! I just recently changed the thermal paste on my PC, thinking it might help.

Are you trying to cool the room or the PC? If possible, set your PC in another room with an open window, and have a fan blowing into that room. Just run long cables to your monitor. It worked wonders for me!

Good idea! I'll see if I can make that work. Space is a bit tight, but thanks for the suggestion!

If you're aiming for maximum cooling, try removing the side panel of your case. It'll let your PC's heat escape directly into the room. Also, consider undervolting the CPU and GPU to reduce heat without sacrificing performance. It can make your setup a lot cooler overall.

Thanks! I'm new to this, so I appreciate all the advice. The room gets hot and that warms my PC, making it hard to game. I will definitely look into undervolting!

Just wondering, have you noticed any components thermal throttling? If your room gets hot because of your PC, adding more airflow to the case might just raise the room temperature even more. Opening windows and getting a fan could be more effective.

That makes sense! Thanks for the advice!
