How Can I Keep My Room Cool While Gaming on My PC?

My bulky Acer PC heats up my room significantly, especially after about 30 minutes of gaming. The air conditioning isn't effective since the thermostat is located in another room. In winter, I can simply open the window to cool things down, but that's not an option in summer. I'm considering a standalone AC unit that can vent heat outside through my door since my window isn't compatible with any designs. I'm looking for suggestions or solutions that others might have found helpful for this issue. Thanks!

Honestly, one of the best solutions is to decentralize the heat source. If you can’t vent the heat out effectively with fans or AC, consider moving the PC to a different room. It may not be convenient, but it will help manage the heat.

A box fan might help with air circulation in and out of the room. Also, make sure your PC components are running as efficiently as possible. Venting AC out of the door could be tricky, though. If your windows can open, there are portable units with hoses that work with many window designs. Have you checked your window options?

I could try a box fan, but I usually keep my door shut. The PC needs to run at max performance for tasks other than gaming. I was also thinking about creating a custom exhaust attachment for the AC to fit under my door, though that might not be practical. My window opens outward with vertical hinges, so I’m not sure how that would work.
