I'm currently dealing with high RAM usage—about 70% of my 8 GB is taken up, and I've already disabled most of my startup applications. I'm using Windows 11 Home on my HP Laptop 15-dy2xxx. What steps can I take to further reduce background RAM usage? Any tips or recommendations would be appreciated.

You could definitely disable some unnecessary services, but honestly, if you want to see a real improvement, upgrading your RAM would be the best option. It’s one of the most effective ways to boost overall performance.
Windows tends to cache frequently used applications in memory so they load quicker when needed. This cached memory will get cleared when necessary, so it's not really something to worry about. Just remember that unused RAM can be seen as wasted RAM, so it’s okay to let it do its thing!
